After about 100 employees were introduced to the SmartSolutions concept and functionality during the HAHN Group Roadshow, all SmartSolutions have now arrived back in Rheinböllen. In the assembly hall of HAHN Automation an area has been set up as a temporary showroom, in which employees as well as visitors can get a live demonstration and test the SmartSolutions.
All three cell types (PRESS, TORQUE and DISPENSE) are available there and can be used for tests with customer specific articles. This week, for example, successful tests for pressing in components of a motor bearing have already been carried out on the SmartSolutions PRESS, and further tests are planned. The knowledge gained from the tests helps both HAHN Automation and the customer to determine the appropriate parameters for the serial production of the respective articles even before the completion of the production line. As soon as the assembly line is completed, the parameters can be transferred and thus shorten the time for commissioning and fine adjustment of the programs.
Furthermore, all new developments of SmartSolutions are assembled and tested in the showroom area. Customers can currently find the fourth cell type SmartSolutions PLASMA there, which is scheduled for completion by the end of this month. The SmartSolutions PLASMA contains process equipment for plasma cleaning and activation of the inner surface of disposable syringes of various sizes. Customers will be able to gain exclusive insights into the developments of the SmartSolutions product series in the showroom in Rheinböllen.
In the new HAHN Automation building, which is currently under construction in Rheinböllen and will offer about 6,000 m² additional production space, there will be a new showroom, in which, in addition to the SmartSolutions, further test equipment such as battery or gear test systems will be available for demonstrations and trials.
