The biggest innovation of the SmartSolutions product series is clearly the intuitive software SIA (Smart Intuitive Automation), which enables the creation of new machining programs without any programming knowledge using a standard tablet. The software, which was specially developed for the SmartSolutions, is not only child's play to operate thanks to its smartphone-like user interface, but also offers a wide range of intelligent functions that are included as standard.
For example, the SmartSolutions TORQUE is delivered as a turnkey solution with various standard screwdriving programs, which first unscrew the screws inserted to the same height during each screwdriving process before they are all then tightened with the defined force. Also, for each of the machining cells, the setup process is supported by live camera so that the machining points of the article can be defined with highest precision.
Thanks to a new software update, SIA now has some more smart features that make creating a program even easier. For example, parameters set for a point can be transferred to all other points or only selected points with just a few clicks. SmartSolutions DISPENSE provides various contour modules from which the individual dispensing contour for each article can be put together. Furthermore, any errors or failures that occur in the system can be identified even more easily thanks to the update: in an overview graphic of the SmartSolutions cell, the respective system component that is affected by the failure is highlighted in color, so that it is clear at first glance at which point the error must be eliminated.
To ensure that all SmartSolutions already delivered always have the latest software version, all standard updates are available to existing customers free of charge. This ensures that all customers benefit from the permanent ongoing development and that SIA is available to them in its full scope.
